I’m on the 3 day detox right now, so its not the full plan, but I wanted to share what was up and how I am doing.
During detox I can have unlimited GREEN raw vegetables, unlimited fat free dressings, unlimited proteins, but no deli meat. Also 1 clementine or half orange in the morning and one in the afternoon. Also, 2 eggs in the morning and a prescribed amount of light salt, and Slimgenics vitamins and their thermo boost drink mix.
I am curious about how many calories I’m consuming when following the plan, so I’m also logging over on My Fitness Pal, too.
So today…if you’re curious I ate: (I’m not including vitamins or thermo boost drinks)
- 2 sunny side up eggs w/Morton’s light salt
- 1 clementine
- snowpeapods, celery and cucumbers w/fat free blue cheese dressing
- 6 1/2 oz filet mignon w/Morton’s light salt
- 1 clementine
- celery and cucumbers w/fat free blue cheese dressing
- Costco rotisserie chicken (1 leg, 1 breast, 1 wing – no skin)
- cucumber slices w/Morton’s light salt
I also had the full limit if 100 ozs of water and 2 cans of diet clear soda (Diet 7up)
I have to say that I was satisfied after breakfast of eggs for about 2 1/2 hours and then I started getting pretty hungry so I had the raw veggies, but I didn’t feel satisfied until I had steak at lunch time…then I stayed pretty full for about 3 hours, then it was time for my other clementine and more veggies. I was STARVING by dinner time and so ready to eat unlimited rotisserie chicken..mmmm now I’m happy and sipping on my 2nd Diet 7up and feeling pretty good!
Tomorrow…we have our actual orientation for the regular weight loss phase of Slimgenics that will start on Thursday and go for 21 weeks for me….I’ll tune back and tell ya’ll about my first impressions after the orientation, my shopping trip, and maybe how I might organize it all so I don’t get too anxious about food planning!
